Yes, I confess : Today I used the Lens Flare filter in Photoshop. Eddie Pittman and Steven Geer can now throw things at me for my gaucherie and amateurish ways.
(But ,what is it about that darn Lens Flare filter that is so irresistible ? )
Just messin' around this afternoon , coloring some misc. sketches. This one's not very good , but I've been down on myself for not posting any drawings in a long time , so this is now my motivation to post something better , really soon !
Don't you worry. I had an instructor tell me to use the grass and leaf brush recently. I shudder to think what might come of the students that listen to him.

Yeah, I used the lens flare last week... but it was on a storyboard drawing and it was to indicate a lens flare in the final film. That's ok, right?

Dave, you are a jerk. How can you say that drawing is "not very good"?!? In saying that you lesson all of us that WISH we could do a drawing that good! That's why you are a jerk. Your so good and you take it for granted! Like Bill Gates and all his money. Sad!

Neato. It's subtle and you've indicated a nice soft focus bg behind the character so, what the hay.. Now if you kept putting it in every shot, it might get a bit tired, other wise it's good use of the lense flare.
We've added you to our links at last, so we can come back and check all your great posts at our leisure!
